We finally had the interview with Partners in Health! To everyone who contribute questions, thank you. To everyone else, this is absolutely worth checking out.

We interviewed Andrew Marx, Director of Communications at PIH. Andrew just returned from Haiti, and gives the real version of what’s going on over there. The level of devastation is just huge, but a big part of this interview is what exactly Partners in Health is doing to help and why it really is important to help out and donate. I’m probably a lot like you. I knew what was going on in Haiti, I’d heard a bit about the ecological disaster and the problems with starvation and poverty. Beyond reading about it a few times though, I really didn’t know that much.

Part of what Collage for a Cause is all about is raising awareness and empathy for what’s going on in Haiti right now. Instead of just reading about it and hearing more numbers, one of our goals was to bring you a glimpse into what it’s really like over there.

The interview above is with Kim Jones. She’s spent time in Haiti doing missions work, and helped found Hope for Haiti. Topics include some of what it’s like over there, and some of what’s being done by normal everyday people to help make a difference.
