Collage for a Cause – Hearts for Haiti Event:

Since it’s Valentine’s Day we will enjoy some sweet treats and talk about what love and giving is.  We will use a fun creative collage process to explore the ways we can give from our hearts when we don’t have money to give.  This event will be centered around creating a shared connection with Haiti as well as the people in our local community.

Through coming together as a community, we will have the opportunity to connect, share, find solutions, and learn more about how situations like what has happened in Haiti, show us the importance of community coming together, creating together and sharing with one another.

Participants will explore the themes of community, hope, love and giving with others by creating collage art to share during the event and after the event on this site with Partners in Health and the Haitians.   Toward the end of the event, there will be a gallery walk and a chance to view each participants piece. 

We’ll also learn a bit about Partners in Health, the organization our event is raising funds for – and the ways their community-based model has been serving people since the 80’s

**Anyone can participate in this event and children over age 8 are welcome.**
